Location: Meet on the beach on the northern side of City Beach groyne (under/near the white surf-lifesaving stand)
Time : 7.30am (for a dry-land warmup and coaches briefing) for an 8am in-water start
The Swim: either 1 or 2 'return' laps (swimming in groups with other club members) between the City Beach and Floreat groynes ((approx 1km per return lap)
Afters: Head for the warm showers, straight to the BBQ gazebo located opposite the City Beach groyne for a convivial Xmas Champagne and BBQ breakfast, hosted and prepared by the club
